Train 1110 on the Main-Bergen County line was briefly delayed following the crash just before 10:15 a.m. at the Hollywood Avenue crossing, which left the sedan severely damaged, according to incident reporter Boyd A. Loving and an NJ Transit spokesperson.

No injuries were reported to the 50 customers and crew members nor to the vehicle occupants, who exited prior to the strike, NJT said.

The train had left from Suffern, NY at 9:54 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Hoboken at 11:06 a.m., NJT said.
